We’re not sure whether it will be called the Nozomi, the Xperia Arc HD, or something else entirely. But whatever its name ends up being, Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Android powerhouse can’t be accused of being camera-shy.
For the third time in a month photos of the Nozomi have leaked onto the web, and the latest snaps are the most revealing yet – showing the handset dressed in the conventional black rather than white as in the previous two images.

The shots show variations on a detailed front view of the high-end handset, and a view of the back with the battery cover removed. And it’s the rear view that’s the most revealing, as it shows the Nozomi will access the networks through a Micro SIM card, and that the battery will be non-removable.
More surprisingly, there doesn’t appear to be a microSD card slot at all, though with a rumoured 16GB or 32GB of storage on board, that would end up being an inconvenience rather than a severe limitation.
The front view, while not revealing anything ground-breaking, does give us the best view of the handset we’ve had so far, and it certainly has the Sony Ericsson look about it, combining subtle design flourishes within a fairly conservative overall look.
The images have been surfaced by GSM Arena, and the good news is that the generous tipster has thrown in a decent helping of specs too.
We were already expecting a 4.3-inch 720p LCD and the dual-core Snapdragon 1.5GHz processor with standalone Adreno 220 GPU.
Alongside the storage options mentioned earlier will be 1GB of RAM to keep multitasking light on its toes, while sharing 1080p video to your big screen TV bill be a doddle thanks to the on-board HDMI port.
As was previously rumoured, it seems a 12-megapixel camera with Full HD video recording is a done deal, which we’re happy to see as Sony Ericsson has a rich pedigree when it comes to cameraphones – one that it’s not really seemed interested in developing recently.
Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread will be the operating system of choice, but with Sony Ericsson having already confirmed that its existing Xperia line will be getting an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at some point, it seems obvious that the same will apply here.Desinger iPhone 4 cases
